Golden Triangle Missions School, 2018
Summary, coming soon
In 1986, a young man named Noah felt a calling to Hwe Yong, an animist Akha village in Eastern Myanmar. Encouraged by a Burmese man he met along his journey, Noah stayed there for years as an evangelist and teacher. Today, the village has electricity, plumbing, and an education system, two churches and, most notably, is exclusively Christian. This article examines the work of Noah and the impact of Christianity on the village, and looks at the influence of the first school in the village: the Golden Triangle Missions School (GTMS).
