Bakery and cafe, est. 2015 / Co-founder, creative director, designer.
Complete redesign and branding of an acquired local community cafe. Creation of original recipes, new drink and food menus, and training processes.
The primary renovation focused on functionality (new equipment, cleaning, storage), with a complete repainting and the introduction of new brand design, menu, and management.
The second renovation was done in collaboration with New York-based architect, August Liau: "Gut renovation […] including the addition of a new kitchen, service counter, and seating areas. The design maximises functionality of this small space by positioning the counter in the center and creating multiple seating types in two zones configured around this focal point.”
Pre-possession images of the former shop (right 3). Although the interior provided a cozy space, an ineffective layout yielded minimal seating and cluttered areas. Little-to-no branding; nothing baked in-house.
